About the Founder

Lachrisha Parker

Founder & Executive Director

Lachrisha Parker is a proud native of Fort Wayne, Indiana and retired after twenty-eight years of honorable and distinguished service to the Nation, retiring in September 2018.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College. She currently serves as the Founder and Executive Director for Covered Heroes Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization providing dental services to our Veteran Women, established in July 2023.

She’s also the Chief Executive Officer of Parker Executive Consulting LLC, offering her advice and expertise to client organizations to help them improve their business performance, with a focus on operations, strategy, management, HR, and executive admin to C-suite clientele organizations.

Lachrisha has served as the special assistant to the President of the U.S. African Development Foundation, Executive Administrator to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer for the Bluestone Group LLC, an international professional service company located in Washington, D.C., and the Community Engagement Manager at the Military Women’s Memorial in Arlington, VA.

Ms. Parker is a Top 10 Finalist for the Ms. Veteran America competition 2019, winning 2 Awards for “Top Talent-Showstopper” and “Top Evening Gown-She Wears it Well”. She is an activist for homeless women veterans for Final Salute, Inc. Ms. Parker was the first female veteran to be recognized as the “Veteran of the Game” for the NFL Washington Football Team and Black Rifle Coffee Company in Oct 2021.

She currently serves on the Department of Veteran Affairs, Center Women Veteran Advisory Committee, Maryland Commission for Women Veteran Memorial, Maryland Women Veterans Advisory Group, and Maryland Veteran Women Chamber of Commerce.

Lachrisha has volunteered with Mission of Mercy, a mobile dental clinic, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, comprehensive dental clinics as a dental assistant. Ms. Parker is a member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Women Army Corp – Veteran Association (WAC-VA) Chapter 33, American Legion, National Association of Black Women Veteran (NABWV), US Army Adjutant General Corp, and a lifetime member as a devoted Christian.

Master Sergeant Parker and her husband Reggie (Army Veteran) have five children, Amber, Kia, Desmond, Keyana, and Reginald Jr (RJ), and their family dog “Boss,” currently residing in Maryland.
